Overview
A 4x4x8 pressure-treated southern yellow pine post, treated with micronized copper azole (MCA) to resist rot, decay and termites. Rated for ground contact, so it can be used for posts, sill plates, deck framing, retaining walls and anywhere the wood touches soil, concrete or stays wet.
Actual size 3-1/2 in. x 3-1/2 in. x 8 ft.. Use hot-dipped galvanized, stainless or coated fasteners and hangers rated for treated lumber. Let the wood dry before staining or painting.
