Overview
A 7/16 in. (nominal 1/2 in.) oriented strand board sheathing panel, the standard wall and roof sheathing for wood framing. OSB is made from strands of wood bonded with waterproof resin and has no voids, giving uniform strength across the whole panel.
4 ft. x 8 ft. panel. Leave a 1/8 in. gap at panel edges and fasten with 8d nails or sheathing screws per code.
