Overview
FibaTape Standard is the basic white self-adhesive fiberglass mesh joint tape in the ADFORS line. The 1-7/8 in. wide mesh is pressed directly onto the seam between drywall panels or over a crack, then covered with joint compound that is forced through the open weave to lock the tape in place. Because it sticks on its own, the bedding coat used with paper tape is not needed.
The 300 ft. roll is the common contractor length. It is sold in a resistant wrap with English and Spanish labeling and ships 12 rolls to a case. The same tape is offered in yellow for users who want the tape to stay visible until it is fully covered.

Use and compatibility
For tapered drywall seams, butt joints, and crack repair on drywall or plaster. Not recommended for inside corners by the manufacturer (use paper or FibaFuse there). Embed with setting-type (hot mud) or taping compound; heavy-weight all-purpose ready-mix is acceptable in warm, stable, low-humidity conditions. Avoid lightweight compounds for embedding. Interior use.
