Overview
Kingspan GreenGuard GG25-LG is a 3 in. thick Type IV extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation board, 4 ft x 8 ft (32 sq ft), rated R-15 at this thickness (R-5.0 per inch). It is a closed-cell board with a minimum 25 psi compressive strength, low water absorption, and a low-GWP blowing agent. This is the scored (score board) version: the full 48 in. sheet is factory-scored so it can be snapped into 16, 24 or 32 in. widths without cutting. Typical uses are below-slab, foundation and basement walls, cavity walls, and continuous exterior insulation over sheathing. It must be covered with an approved thermal barrier when used indoors and should not be left exposed to sunlight more than 60 days.
