Owens Corning PINK Next Gen Fiberglas batt insulation, R-19, 6.5 in. thick, 16.25 in. x 96 in., with a Kraft paper vapor-retarder facing. Sized for metal-framed (steel stud) walls 16 in. o.c., 6 in. depth, 96 in. batts. Each bag holds 8 pieces and covers about 85.33 sq. ft.
The Kraft facing has stapling flanges and acts as a vapor retarder (about 1.0 perm); it is combustible, so the insulation must be covered with a code-approved thermal barrier such as 1/2 in. drywall and kept away from open flame or heat sources. The product is made to ASTM C665, is GREENGUARD certified and validated formaldehyde-free, and is compression-packed to save space in transit.
