Overview
Owens Corning PINK Next Gen Fiberglas roll insulation, R-19, 6.25 in. thick, 15 in. x 39.2 ft., with a Kraft paper vapor-retarder facing. Sized for 2x6 walls and floors, 16 in. o.c. (15 in. wide continuous roll). One continuous roll covers about 48.96 sq. ft.
The Kraft facing has stapling flanges and acts as a vapor retarder (about 1.0 perm); it is combustible, so the insulation must be covered with a code-approved thermal barrier such as 1/2 in. drywall and kept away from open flame or heat sources. The product is made to ASTM C665, is GREENGUARD certified and validated formaldehyde-free, and is compression-packed to save space in transit.
